Canopée’s distinguishing feature: its ability to manage and control complex contracts, assembling development, financing, construction, servicing/maintenance, major works, revenue management, energy performance, modification works, etc.
Canopée assumes the role of committed project management, involved in the operational phase and long-term, and also the responsibilities and prerogatives of the client including the corporate mandate.

The total independence of our company

Independence is a key factor for success, especially when it comes to avoiding difficulties of arbitration in conflict of interest situations. Our sole objective: to be at the service of the project alone by ensuring compliance with the Contract and defending the economic and relational balance of the issues at stake.

The encounter

Canopée was founded when Maximin Bessi and François Phulpin met in a well-known company in the real estate sector.

The conviction

From the outset, they held a strong conviction: in the sector of long-term investments in infrastructure (PPPs and energy in particular) or real estate, the operation of projects is an essential and sometimes underestimated phase.

A conscious decision

A real awareness of the complexity of this operating phase: a large number of stakeholders, the long life of the projects and the diversity of the issues to be mastered (accounting, legal, technical maintenance, social life, etc.).

CIP: a European solution created with our British partner IML

  • CIP (Canopée IML Partnership) provides SPV Management services in Europe through a Joint Venture with IML, a British SPV management company created in 2005, a major stakeholder in the English-speaking market.
  • CIP offers a full range of services to British clients with infrastructure and real estate assets in France as well as for any investor in Europe.
  • Canopée is responsible for the direction, operational management and financial supervision of projects. The accounting and financial model management services are provided by IML.

Facilitis: a recognised stakeholder in the tertiary real estate sector

  • Facilitis is an operational consulting and engineering company, specialised in the real estate sector.
  • Created in 2001, Facilitis has since grown considerably.
  • Completely independent, Facilitis brings together talents from the world of commercial and industrial real estate.
  • In 2017, Facilitis entered the capital of Canopée, with the aim of developing new markets that could benefit from the skills of the 2 entities.
